We trade as The Natural Fibre Company and Blacker Yarns to make high quality knitting and weaving yarns from British and regional breeds of wool, mohair and alpaca. Through The Natural Fibre Company, we provide a commission processing service for fibre producers, spinning batches from 20kg to 1 tonne. Through Blacker Yarns we make and market our own brand of high quality knitting yarns, from specially chosen and hand sorted fibre. We also publish knitting patterns and market gifts, scoured and carded fleece and more. All our yarns are spun by The Natural Fibre Company under one roof in Cornwall, UK. We believe we are unique in making both combed (worsted spun) and carded (woollen spun) yarns under the same roof, as well as having a dye-plant and are able to undertake all processes to GOTS organic standards via our Soil Association accreditation.
