Elite Detection K9 (EDK9) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization formed specifically to address the national shortage of American-bred explosives detection dogs. Located in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Elite Detection K9 purposefully breeds, raises, and trains high-quality, American-bred, scent-detection dogs for explosives and munitions detection. EDK9 provides its dogs to international security firms and select law enforcement agencies. EDK9 also provides nationally certified K9 teams to venues, hospitals, colleges and universities, high schools, and businesses.
