SPAX is one of the leading screw brands in Europe and the USA. SPAX International in Germany produces more than 50 million screws every day. The company was founded in 1823 under the name Altenloh, Brinck & Co. and was the first German company to undertake the industrial manufacturing of screws. In 1967 SPAX was created - the first universal screw to have its own brand name and logo. From the very beginning, SPAX was systematically designed as a quality product and marketed exclusively in the characteristically green packaging. 2017 saw SPAX celebrate its 50th anniversary as a successful brand product. Today SPAX Pacific is a subsidiary of SPAX International, a SPAX importation and distribution network to service the Pacific region. The business has grown substantially since it started, demonstrating that the local industry has recognized the advantages of the SPAX product.
