Binda Consulting International Limited (BCI) is a Malta based consultancy focused on international human and political development, strategic communications and campaigns. Its founders, Francesca Binda and Carlo Binda are a sister and brother team with more than 30 years’ collective experience working internationally and 20 years’ combined experience working in Canadian politics. The consultancy also draws on an international network of consultants with deep experience. BCI consultants have worked extensively in the fields of constitutional development, political process development, elections and governance. The founders of BCI, have been based in and worked on institutional development projects in Yemen, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Nigeria, Morocco, Iraq, Palestine, Nigeria, Egypt, and Libya. Francesca spent two years with International IDEA in Stockholm developing a global database on political and election laws. Both Carlo and Francesca have extensive election experience as campaign staff and international observer staff. Both have also managed large portfolios of international development funds from the UN, USAID, DFID, and the governments of Canada, the Netherlands, and the United States. BCI consultants have profound experience with public opinion research. Carlo worked with opinion research in Canada to design communications strategies for political campaigns, and to research and shape Canadian values with respect to universal health care insurance programs. Both Francesca and Carlo have managed public opinion research projects in the Middle East, West Africa and the Balkans in support of political institutional development.
