Jovein Cement Plc. was established in 1994 in order to produce cement with the capacity of 700 tons per day. After undergoing some structural changes within the company in 2003, Professor Kazem Oraee acquired the majority of Jovein Cement's shares. At this time, the project was reviewed and as a result, the production was increased to 4,000 tons per day and became one of the leading cement manufacturers in Iran. Jovein Cement Plc. is situated in an area of more than 3,000,000 square meters and mineral resources area of more than 350 kilometres squared. Jovein Cement is equipped with the most recent and state of the art technology made in Germany and Denmark. By relying on proficient human recourses, the most recent technology and rich mines, the production of 4,000 tons per day for cement clinker and 5,000 tons per day for cement has been achieved. Jovein Cement Plc. is proud to have been able to achieve its first and foremost goal which is “Unrivalled in Product Quality” by collaborating with FLSmidth which is the global frontrunner in this field. Furthermore, Jovein Cement entered into an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) contract with FLSmidth when it first commissioned in 2010. As part of the said contract, FLSmidth took on all responsibility for the efficient operation, upgrading and upkeep of Jovein’s plant by handling the myriad of tasks that are crucial to the success of the plant. In doing so, they have built a strong and efficient local organisation at the plant. FLSmidth’s ambition is to maintain high and sustainable production levels throughout the year. A precondition for this is to perform maintenance activities at the highest possible level.
