Performance Ag Indiana is a diversified custom agricultural equipment and seed dealer based in Frankfort, Indiana. The company was started by Eric Frank in 2008 as a means to make some extra money while he was working full time on the farm. The initial drive behind Performance Ag was his desire to help growers be more profitable doing what they love - farming. Beginning with just one product/service in 2007 (Precision Planting), the business has grown and expanded to now offering products and services from15 different companies - ranging from precision technologies, planter parts, equipment, implements, fuel trailers, and seed. The initial ‘shop’ was in a rented barn on a farm in northern Boone County with low lighting, dirt floors, no insulation and minimal heat. Now, in 2018, Performance Ag is located in a brand new, state of the art, temperature controlled building in Clinton County off one of the nation’s busiest interstates. The facility has an office, shop, storage, 800 bu/hr seed treater, and is located on 6 acres for future expansion. Throughout all this growth and change, the passion has always remained the same - To provide solutions for growers to make more informed decision utilizing the latest and always advancing technologies, while providing service at a moments notice. “I (Eric) was always taught by my grandfather that if you put yourself in someone else’s shoes when you talk to them, you will never go wrong.
