There are 19 locations in the Maricopa County Library District (MCLD). Each year, we hold more than 6,500 free events and programs for all ages. We run a summer reading program for more than 75,000 adults and children. Materials in our collection circulated nearly 9 million times in 2016. And we offer wonderful free, learning and research opportunities online. Our goal is to inspire curiosity, to encourage the discovery and exploration of new worlds, and to help all Maricopa County residents re-engage with their community. For Maricopa County residents and property owners, a library card is free.
