AKÇELİK, which adopts as a principle to meet customer expectations with the highest quality, competitive price and on time; It was established in 1978 in Izmir, In 1990, it started bright steel production in its factory with an area of 15,000 m² in İzmir AOSB. In 2002, TAYSAD commissioned the investments of the new cold drawing and peeling facility with an area of 12,800 m² in the OSB. In 2004, Konya branch with an area of 3500 m² was put into service. In 2012, TAYSAD commissioned the logistics center in OSB with a closed area of 14.000 m2. Ankara branch, with an area of 4000m2, was put into service in 2012. In 2014, the Esenyurt (Istanbul European side) branch was put into service. We started the production and distribution of large diameter bright steel from 20 mm to 200 mm with our factory Akçelik Blankstahl und Service Center GmbH, which started operating in Kerpen/Germany in 2020. In 2021, we signed a new partnership by purchasing 58% of the Tristar Steel company in Romania. Thanks to this joint venture, we gained know-how in high value-added products and took our place as a strong player in a new market.
