The Partnership has recently integrated staff and resources with the Central Virginia Small Business Development Center and the Piedmont Workforce Network to expand its services for existing businesses, entrepreneurs, job seekers and employers. Central Virginia is comprised of 8 localities. The region has a vibrant economic ecosystem that balances the needs of the business community with an incomparable quality of life. Key Central Virginia assets include the intellectual firepower of the University of Virginia, strategic location, a pro-business climate, and a highly qualified workforce. These assets coalesce in vibrant urban centers and idyllic rural areas with access to exceptional transportation infrastructure, creating a fertile environment for business growth and expansion. We serve as regional liaison for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and Virginia Department of Business Assistance for this region.
