Our intent from conception has been to offer patented, timeless designs, tailored to your specifications and delivered in a timely fashion. Who are we? Veloce Studios creates modern, museum quality furniture, designed and assembled in California, using the finest sustainable materials. The collections are constructed to be passed down through generations. An extensive range of customized choices are offered, along with expedited delivery. We believe in making the world a better place by producing objects that deliver comfort, beauty, intrigue, pleasure and timeless elegance. An Italian name with a California state of mind To tell the story behind our name we need to introduce our founder, Dax Westfall. While living outside of Milan, Italy he would take walks to the city center and admire the beautiful furniture in the grand storefronts. He started thinking, “What if you took beautiful and functional furniture and offered the ability to customize it to fit a person’s exact dimensions using modern production techniques to guarantee a timely delivery?” When he returned to the San Francisco Bay Area, he immediately got underway and the new company was named Veloce Studios as a nod to expedient service, his time abroad, and his Italian grandfather who showed him nothing was impossible in his workshop. Built to last True beauty and craftsmanship transcend any given period and radiate their essence through the ages. We are influenced by the clean lines of the Bauhaus and Post War Modernists like Gio Pointi, Charles Eames, Eero Saarinen, Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Mies van der Rohe. Like us, they too believed that providing captivating designs and using unique quality materials, pieces will last generations. We never compromise and offer only the finest raw materials and assembly techniques. Old world craftsmanship, meet high tech Since day one we have combined an industrial manufacturing approach with old world craftsmanship. We have harnessed the latest tools, both digital and analog, and balanced them with time-tested old world techniques. All offerings are environmentally sustainable, made in the United States, recyclable, and sourced locally whenever possible. What is it about furniture anyway? A chair, sofa or lounge should be a sanctuary of comfort and provide an experience that excites the senses. The purpose of a chair is to leave one’s feet and “take a load off.” We have studied how to enhance comfort and add artistry.
