The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Uganda is a non-governmental organization that was registered locally by the SDA Church in Uganda in 1986. ADRA Uganda supports major community development projects and invests in the potential of poverty-stricken communities. ADRA Uganda ensures that communities have access to food, opportunities for livelihoods to meet their family’s needs, primary health training and services, as well as basic education. ADRA International, along with ADRA Uganda and a worldwide network of partner offices, has since helped facilitate delivery of relief and development assistance to individuals in more than 130 countries, regardless of their ethnicity, political affiliation, or religious association.
