Ocean Visuals AS is a Norwegian company created as a joint venture between Industries Holding and LDII Innovation OÜ. Industries Holding is a supplier in the maritime industry with products in control design platform system software, turn-key control solutions for winches, launch-and-recovery systems and offshore cranes, heave-compensated gangways and multi-sensor information systems. LDI Innovation, led by Dr. Sergey Babichenko, is an R&D and engineering company developing novel photonics sensing technologies for industrial and environmental applications. The team has 35 years of experience in developing oil spill remote detection technologies and has been collaborating with institutions such as US Coast Guard, Ontario Ministry of Environment and CEPPOL France. They have published over 100 scientific publications on the technology applications. We have formed Ocean Visuals in order to provide you with our unique and patented OWL™ lidar sensor system for real-time detection and classification of oil and organics in the sea. Our aim is to provide you with the results of real-time data gathering with our best-in-class photonic sensory and contextualize the data from the air, on the surface and subsea to extract insights.
