We believe in using already existing materials to reduce the impact on the environment. Slow fashion focuses on designing, creating and buying clothes that are of high quality and last long. Buying slow fashion offers the wearer the opportunity to have something unique that is less harmful to both the environment as well as the society in large thanks to small, more personal production practices. Minutæ stands for the simple, seasonless design with the small, yet elegant details as well as for the uniqueness of each piece made out of a variety of upcycled materials. The deadstock and vintage fabrics are carefully selected, often been waiting in a grandmother’s closet to be made into something one of a kind. The pre-loved fabrics ensure that every piece in the capsule collection is a single piece and a little different than the other, making it just as unique as its wearer. All pieces in the minutæ capsule collection are hand-made. As a Swiss-Estonian brand, we design all our products in small batches in Basel, Switzerland and produce both in our studio in Switzerland as well as in Estonia. Minutæ has an opportunity to work with a trained tailor and friend who has her own vintage store as well as a tailoring studio in Tallinn. All pieces have a tag telling you who made your clothes making the products a little more personal - made with love by us for you.
