Original Canadian Theatre | Magpie weaves together multiple art forms to address questions of love, life, the human experience and the world as it evolves around us. Company Overview Magpie Theatre was founded in Edmonton in 2010, with a focus on new Canadian work and collective creation. It currently houses Nathania Bernabe, April Ashley Killins and Dan McNeil. Nathania is Magpie's artistic associate and a performer from Concordia University who works in dance, film, theatre and improv. She is a co-founder and partner at wORKERANT eNTERTAINMENT. April is Magpie's founder and producer. She has worked as a writer, director, and performer throughout Alberta, and extensively in arts education with Theatre Prospero and Learning Through the Arts. She holds the highest level of artist-educator certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Dan is a wizard of sound and rhythm.
