Unitech Training Academy was granted a license by the Louisiana State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education on April 24, 1997, and became a fully operational proprietary school. Beginning with one program, the Certified Nursing Assistant program, the school now offers other programs to meet the needs and demands of the local communities in Louisiana and Mississippi. Unitech Training Academy is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Regents, and the Commission on Proprietary Schools, and College Registration in Mississippi. Unitech Training Academy has been accredited since 2003 by the Council on Occupational Education.
