The lack of representation, visibility, resources, and support has contributed to the marginalization of women of color leaving them to navigate complex legal and emotional challenges on their own causing serious issues with long-term impacts on mental and emotional well-being. Women of color are often disproportionately impacted by divorce, and face unique challenges and obstacles that are not adequately addressed by existing resources and support networks. EsteemU addresses these issues, by creating resources, providing guidance, and tools in the areas of mental health, financial stability, employability, entrepreneurship, and hosting community conversations to raise awareness.
