Welcome to the BGA and our LinkedIn page! Our association exists to promote understanding and to forge links between Britain and Germany. The BGA is an active and vibrant membership organisation based in the German embassy building on Belgrave Square. We host a diverse range of events throughout the year for those involved in business, politics and the arts. Formerly known as the Anglo-German Association, the BGA was founded in 1951. For more than 60 years, we’ve helped build and develop the friendship and relationship between Britain and Germany. Today, this relationship is hugely important and valued. Britain and Germany are partners in Europe and NATO and the economic interdependence between our two countries is pivotal. Britain is now Germany’s most important trading partner and the biggest overseas investment destination for German companies.
