At Energy Diagnostics we are developing a new proprietary battery platform technology designed to overcome many of the problems associated with cell balancing and response times of conventional battery systems. We demonstrated feasibility of our bipolar cell arrays with 4.8V, 16V and 48V system designs, incorporating our reversible zinc based chemistry. Recently we demonstrated our printed battery platform with lithium ion chemistry for industry applications where lithium is preferred, e.g. automotive industry. The results from our feasibility research and prototype builds of our newly patented battery 'Zincell(R)' are very encouraging and have led to successful demonstration testing with a solar PV application. We are now poised to test an integrated 'Zincell(R)' battery within a small commercial solar PV application, prior to marketing our new invention to the off-grid solar PV and the wider renewable energy and automotive industry. We are ready to discuss licensing options for our patented technology as well as joint development projects, initially within off-grid solar PV applications. The benefits of our printed battery will be of significant interest to prospective partners and customers in the renewables industry, and now potentially the automotive industry.
