BMC Air Filters is a worldwide leading company in the manufacture of air filters and air intake kits for cars and motorcycles, both for on-road and racing use. The company is located in the heart of the ‘Motor Valley’ in Medicina, near Bologna, with branches in India and China and more than 90 distributors around the world. BMC was born in 1973 - through the great motorcycling passion of its founder, Gaetano Bergami - as a distribution company for automotive products. From 1976 BMC Air Filters developed racing bikes for the TT1 1000 (Superbike) Championship. Since then it has supplied Formula 1 teams, contributing to victories in many World Formula 1 Constructors’ and Drivers’ World Championships. It has been equally successful in motorcycle racing, in which BMC has assisted the winners in both the World Drivers’ and Manufactures’ MotoGp and Superbike Championships.
