IASMED Association, is a nonprofit organization, founded with the purpose of: Supporting collaboration between different professionals working in the field of medical devices (economic operators; companies; medical, nursing, administrative and technical staff), promoting the development of individual skills and encouraging continuous updating through international exchange; Establishing partnerships with manufactures and distributors to increase the spread the know-how on new medical technologies at national and international level; Collaborating with Italian and Foreign Ministries, public and private institutions in Italy and abroad, national and international organizations, academic institutions and graduate schools as well as other associations with similar purposes, to provide assistance, operational support, advice and any other activity related to the field of medical devices and health technologies; Promoting the recovery of medical devices and furnishings from public and private agencies, from company manufactures and distributors, in order to send them to economically disadvantaged countries, national and international healthcare facilities, rehabilitation communities, volunteer centers, reception centers, etc.; Encouraging the training of local personnel in developing countries or in national and international facilities; Promoting activities and events, conferences, seminars, service meetings, publications on medical technology, both nationally and internationally;
