RCL is a Kenyan actuarial consultancy firm providing actuarial, financial modelling and risk management advice to governments and governmental organizations, public and private pension scheme trustees and sponsors, (re)insurance companies, not-for-profit organizations, and SMEs and large-scale corporations. RCL was formed following the relocation of one of our Directors, Darshan Ruparelia FIA, from the UK to Kenya. Darshan started the consultancy with support from fellow actuary Mark Stephenson FIA who is based in the UK. Darshan practiced as a consulting actuary in the UK for 9 years primarily advising public sector and private sector occupational pension schemes. Founded in 2014, RCL has experienced substantial growth and recognition in Kenya, while maintaining high standards of service and building a strong reputation in the region for its operations. Our local presence (in East Africa) allows us to provide specific and pragmatic solutions that take account of the local market and the needs of our clients. RCL is registered with the Retirement Benefits Authority (the “RBA”) in Kenya to advise employee benefits’ schemes. RCL is also registered with the Insurance Regulatory Authority (the “IRA”) to provide actuarial advice to (re)insurance companies. All our Consulting Actuaries and actuarial trainees are members of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) (the “IFoA”). RCL offices are located in Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya.
