Aspire's Owner, Thomas Clary, is a seasoned accounting veteran with over ten years of experience managing and providing services to small business. Tom is an active CPA and has earned an MBA from Sage Graduate School and a Master of Accountancy from Baruch College - The City University of New York. As a Controller or Consultant, Tom has overseen the books for start-ups, not-for-profits, and large enterprises. He has set up accounting systems, payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting processes. His system implementations include small business software like Quickbooks and Xero, while his expertise extends to ERP systems for inventory and manufacturing companies. Tom has also played a lead role in selling several businesses and business lines, establishing lines of credit and term loans, managing payroll and retirement, and establishing policy and controls for AR, AP, and Sales Orders. Tom's experience includes providing income tax services for partnerships, S corporations, trusts and estates, and individuals and tax planning for significant business transactions. He also has extensive experience in payroll and sales tax. As an active board member of two Maryland not-for-profits, Tom loves to volunteer his skills for the community and worthy causes. He provides these organizations with thoughtful oversight and assists in determining the strategic direction of these organizations. He also enjoys simply helping where he is needed. Tom lives in Pasadena, MD and has three children with his wife, Caitlain.
