Much of the dynamism and energy of a young population of 150mn has yet to be fully realized. Bangladesh has yet to fully enjoy the benefits from Globalization that have been such major drivers of success in economies in the region. Asian Tiger Capital Partners sees significant opportunities to enhance corporate growth by removing financing and management constraints. Our value added proposition includes bringing strategic as well as financial capital. We intend to invest in existing businesses with a strong domestic or export presence. However, we see some of the best risk-return opportunities in establishing new businesses, potentially with foreign joint venture partners, in sectors with substantial growth opportunities where Bangladesh has lagged many of its regional peers.
