The National Security Group, Inc. (NSG) is an insurance holding company. The Company, through its three wholly owned subsidiaries, operates in two industry segments: property and casualty, and life insurance. The property and casualty subsidiaries of the Company, National Security Fire and Casualty (NSFC), and Omega One Insurance Company (Omega), primarily write personal lines coverage including dwelling fire and windstorm, homeowners, and mobile homeowners in 10 states. Property-casualty insurance is the most significant industry segment accounting for 92.1% of total premium revenues. NSG’s life insurance subsidiary, National Security Insurance Company, offers a basic line of life and health and accident insurance products in seven states.
