When Virginia Draper opened the Draper's Studio of Modes in 1927 – she had a dream-to sell "smart things to wear" along with the very best service. Little did she know that her dream would become a multi-channel specialty retailer that would still be relevant more than 90 years later! Draper's and Damon's joined the Bluestem Brands family in 2015. Bluestem Brands is the parent company to seven eCommerce retail brands. We are as strong and determined and adaptive as the prairie grass for which we’re named.
