Our strategy for investments decisions are based on long term, sustainable growth plans for the business and are not made on short term financial gains defined by a fund investment or exit period. We believe this is particularly important for companies operating in developing markets like Turkey, where greater and more frequent market volatility occurs. We focus on the medium and long term value creation that can achieve with a business, be that through organic growth, regional expansion, investment in new facilities or further bolt-on acquisitions. Accordingly, at the forefront of our investment decision is long term value creation not short term cash return. We also have a strong balance sheet to guide us through any economic, regional or political issues. We do however, have very clear guidelines on returns on investment required for deploying our capital. The full board reviews all potential investment decisions and collectively makes judgements on decisions to be taken. Active involvement in our businesses. We seek to invest in businesses with strong management or where a family wants to exit management of the business. In these cases, we employ the best industry professionals as replacements. We believe the best managers provide for the best value creation. However, we also believe that even the best management team can benefit from utilising the collective resources we provide and also those of the previous family that remain as shareholders. We strongly believe that we are one team with aligned goals.
