DryM Foods was conceptualized by Mranalini Jain when her youngest daughter left for Scotland to pursue her post-graduation. But of course, the biggest problem was the availability of pocket-friendly vegetarian food along with the availability of time to cook. Moving away from home has its perks, but homesickness can be a bigger pain. What better than a mother’s love (converted to food) to ease the soul of a homesick child (right?). This is where the journey of DryM Foods began when a mother thought of a solution to help her daughter and all the mothers out there whose children travel for their studies. Once the journey began, we also realized how well-dehydrated home cooked meals can work out for people other than mothers, people who love camping & backpacking, travel abroad often, have difficult allergies to get around while traveling, and people who are easily fed up of eating out with limited time to cook a satisfying meal, among others.
