A Better Chance of Andover is a 100% scholarship program where selected scholars are welcomed into the Andover, Massachusetts community and attend its nationally recognized high school—Andover High School. Accepted scholars usually start in 9th grade and continue for four years. They live in A Better Chance’s dormitory while school is in session where they are supervised by live-in Resident Directors and Resident Assistants. The program includes study-hour supervision, academic tutoring, college preparation, and a wide range of enrichment activities and trips. Students are encouraged to participate in sports, community service, or one of the many clubs or after-school activities available to them. Graduates continue on to 4-year colleges and become leaders in their communities, workplaces, faith groups, and throughout their lives.
