GDotTV was established in 2008 by "Nu Tong Xue She (女同學社)" as the first LGBTQ online media platform, formed and run by volunteers, mostly LGBTQ themselves and straight allies. Joining the scene as new media, GDotTV have played facilitating and pivotal roles in recording the watershed moments of the movement, but also it has nurtured and empowered many by offering them an opportunity to participate in LGBTQ media.
