The Construction Industry Association of Rochester (CIAR) is a not-for-profit association established to support and promote union contractors in the building and construction industry across the Rochester region. CIAR Goals: Promote union contractors Promote careers in the construction industry and apprenticeship Enable productive and open communication between labor and management Serve as a forum for contractors to address industry concerns Serve as the negotiation support team for management Appoint and/or serve as trustees on Taft-Hartley Funds
