Lexington Pride Center, founded in 1977, is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve empower and celebrate the intersectional lives of LGBTQIA+ Kentuckians. Our vision is a world free of marginalization where every LGBTQIA+ person is safe to be who they are and love who they love. Through our Pride Center, we provide a community focal point that provides access to information, support, services, resources, safe spaces, networking, and community for the LGBTQIA+ community. With the Lexington Pride Festival, we produce a public event that provides celebration, connection, empowerment, and education, for LGBTQIA+ people, their families and allies, and the broader community.
