Queen In You (QIY) is an organization of young professional and collegiate students who dedicate the time to push towards the advancement of colored women. It has been our mission to train young women and girls in the areas of professional development, self-esteem, etiqutte, scholarship, and service. The purpose is to connect & join with a surrounding elementary, middle, and or high school to mentor young girls and the social well being of its members through participation in organizational activities such as community service, full body meetings, fundraising, and social events. We do not discriminate or limit our membership to & against race, religious background, sexual orientation, gender, or marital status. QIY is comprised of upstanding, college-aged women who will mentor girls in grades 5-12. In bimonthly meetings, the queens will complete a vibrant curriculum comprised of doing community service to learn the importance of giving back, as well as having etiquette classes, balls, and etiquette dinners.
