After working for major oil companies for many years we felt increasingly uncomfortable with the culture within these companies. In our opinion they were too large and acting slow, in a very impersonal manner. When several of these companies merged, their way of working with customers worsened even further. Furthermore, they often reduced or minimized R&D activities which resulted in less new product development. This is the main reason for the people behind Matrix Specialty Lubricants BV to decide to set up a customer-focused company. A company in which communications lines are very short and direct. And a company that offers high technology products and a high standard of service and support using the latest available technology and materials.
