Commercial Transport Academy is an internationally recognized logistics and transport academy committed to improving the state of the transport industry by enlightening transport and logistics professionals, educating transport drivers and empowering women owned transport companies. The CTA was established in 2015 with a purpose of introducing integrated driver training solutions, that uplift driver safety standards and achieve sustainable results for organizations, learners and communities. We believe that by including multiple training solutions such as class, in-cab, simulators and telematics, we can achieve a sustainable change in driver behaviour. Integrating the four senses of learning in our programmes assists learners in achieving the maximum benefit from the programme. The CTA purposely co-designs training solutions that deliver on the objectives of the organisation and industry, being the need to create safer roads through safer drivers. We collaborate with other industry experts, subject matter experts and original equipment manufactures, to broaden the scope of training interventions we are able to offer the market. We recognise that driver behaviour (good or bad) is developed over time and long-term changes are only effective when training interventions are supported by on-going driver engagements being, weekly toolbox talks and the use of telematics. Our supportive and highly skilled professional driver trainers reinforce positive driving behaviours and support the earners in identifying and closing skills gaps.
