No Woman Should Die Giving Birth (NWSDGB) is a registered not for profit organization that aims to champion safe-motherhood, where the lives of pregnant women are at risk of health related complications while giving birth. The trustees of the organization felt the need to promote public awareness by mobilizing resources that will help to promote maternal health issues in Malawi. The Trust intends to collaborate with all heath care givers both in public and private hospitals through advocacy and promoting competence and accountability through a research based approach on major causes of maternal health in the country. The organization also intends to engage the public as equal stakeholders in the campaign to reduce maternal mortality. The organization further intends to invest in training and recognition of best practice maternal health care systems so that the country can achieve zero avoidable maternal deaths and complications for all mothers.
