Murray State College, is a public, co-educational community college located in southeastern Oklahoma with the main campus located in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The college is named in honor of former Oklahoma Governor William H. "Alfalfa Bill" Murray. The College’s mission is to provide "opportunities for student learning, personal growth, professional success and community enhancement." Murray State College serves a ten-county area which includes Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray and Pontotoc counties. With campuses in Tishomingo and Ardmore, MSC serves more than 3,000 students annually. Murray State College offers associate degrees in science, arts and applied science.
