Having worked on many software projects we have learnt that there is no simple formula to a successful project. However, we have found the following things to be common to the most successful projects: ● Engagement with customer to understand the problem they are trying to solve ● Early delivery of a working thin slice of the solution ● Regular delivery of new features and reviewing them with the customer ● Automated testing, build and deployment of software to an environment similar to the live environment
