The digital Experimental Cancer Medicine Team (digital ECMT) is based within the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute (CRUK MI), part of The University of Manchester and closely aligned to the Experimental Cancer Medicine Team (ECMT) in The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. Part of Professor Caroline Dive’s Cancer Biomarker Centre at the CRUK MI, the digital ECMT is a clinical and digital research group. Our purpose is to make a positive difference to cancer patients through connecting the clinic, science, technology and the patient in early clinical trials. We operate at the intersection between patients, science, technology and the clinic to pilot and prototype changes in early clinical trials. Our aim is to change the dynamics of a clinical trial through combining novel designs, patient engagement, advanced analytics and technology.
