Craftroots, an initiative of Gramshree aims to empower artisans by connecting them to our resources, tools and network of partner members. At Craftroots, we meet Fair Trade Certification and Craft Mark Certification Standards. Mission In celebration of the creative process, our mission is to revive, preserve and share the craft traditions of Gujarat, India with the world. We are building a network of organizations and people who share our mission. These organizations and people are our partner members; including: •Artisans •NGOs or any collective/group of artisans such as self-help groups (SGHs) and cooperatives •Businesses and corporations •Education institutes including design and management institutes •Individuals and experts such as designers, educators, students, and customers Craft roots is a home for more than a dozen craft forms such as Appliqué and patchwork, Bandhni, Bead work, Wooden carving, Warli hand painting, Pithora art, Patola, Mashru, Pottery, Cane and bamboo, Handloom weaving, Sujani, Tangalia, Dhabla, Brocade, Gharchola and Panetar sarees, Lacquer craft and Block printing.
