Beyond the Bench Beyond the Bench is a monthly GBCC seminar series aimed at creating a platform for PhD/ADC students and post-doctoral fellows interested in non-academic career paths. Professionals from various fields, including business development, management consulting, and medical writing are frequent Beyond the Bench speakers. Monthly Networking Social: The goal of this event series is to facilitate interaction between students interested in pursuing careers in business, consulting, and other non-academic fields. Cases & Cases Cases & Cases is a weekly case practice session for students and post-doc interested in learning about consulting and the case interview process. Carolina Graduate Consulting Group The Carolina Graduate Consulting Group (CG^2), a branch of the GBCC, conducts pro-bono life science consulting projects with groups at UNC and organizations within the Triangle.
