First Free Rockford is a multi-generational, christian church based out of Rockford, Illinois. Our mission is to bring people into a relationship with Jesus Christ, and our vision is to see all generations go, tell, and show the love of God to the community of Rockford and the world. Our culture is shaped around actively growing our relationship with Jesus in the context of community through three primary practices: worshiping together, learning together, and serving together. We offer weekly worship services at various locations with various musical styles, discipleship programs and communities for all ages, and serving opportunities and events both for the benefit of the church and the City of Rockford. We also support several full-time and part-time missionaries and non-profit organizations serving in various locations globally. In 2017, we began a long-term partnership with ReachGlobal in their Tabitha Center ministry which serves young women struggling to make a livelihood in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Lastly, we are members of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), an association of autonomous churches united around ten theological convictions which form the basis of what we believe.
