Herman Fotografie makes natural and typical images from people. I like to give people the feeling they belong, they are worthy. People call me social, creative, enthousiastic and a little bit perfectionistic. I'm a people-person. This means I always intend to talk to people I do not (yet) know and want to know what moves them. I see it as a challenge to frame you typical and recognisable, exactly how you are and exactly how your friends and family like to see you and recognise you. During a photoshoot I try, by using a combination of humor and talking, to make you feel comfortable and to get to know you a little bit. I'm only satisfied when the pictures are showing me the real you. We can do that in a studio, off course, but is way easier outside, during a nice, relaxing walk. Walking outside helps you to relax when your uncomfortable in front of a camera. Another advantage is that the images will have nice, varying and colourful backgrounds.
