UNC Charlotte has established the first School of Data Science in the Carolinas. As a four-college partnership between the College of Computing and Informatics, the Belk College of Business, the College of Health and Human Services, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, SDS is rooted in innovation. The School offers the only Bachelor’s of Science in Data Science in the state, and two interdisciplinary graduate programs in Data Science and Business Analytics and Health Informatics and Analytics. With the brand new undergraduate program, more than 500 graduate students, 75 full-time faculty and more than 500 alumni, the School of Data Science is quickly becoming the region’s leader in data science education and research.
