As of February 1, 2016, the services once provided to you by Tech Valley Connect (TVC) are now being provided by the Center for Economic Growth (CEG) under the Talent Connect Talent Connect, a program under the Center for Economic Growth, designed to help newly relocated professionals and their families transition to the Capital Region and the Berkshires located in upstate New York. By helping newcomers to build both professional and personal ties to their new communities, our goal is to increase retention for area employers. Talent Connect helps families acclimate to their new location by addressing the challenges of professional and personal isolation which may drive some to leave their new job opportunities soon after they arrive. This program also serves as a powerful recruitment tool where an early introduction to the unique comprehensive services that assist with dual career support, family assimilation and cultural transitions can often tip the scales when candidates are making the final decision about accepting an offer.
