Minfest’20 (formerly Minovation) is the flagship programme of the Department of Mining Engineering, IITBHU, India’s oldest haven of mining engineering, and it’s theme is- Where mining embraces AI . We recognize that mining is not a thing of the past. It is the primary industry which provides fuel to every other industry of the world to thrive upon. Thus, mining must go on with the pace of the fourth industrial revolution embracing Artificial Intelligence and other Hi-tech models, thus the change of name from Minovation to MINFEST, from innovations of the past to the inventions of the new decade. We hope to instill in every participant, what every IITIAN feels right now, that every brain is unique and must contribute to bring a revolution in industry and nation building.
