The Georgia Alliance to End Homelessness is a state-wide network committed to fostering strategic initiatives to build a collaborative response to the needs of homeless persons in Georgia. We accomplish this by: -Maintaining a comprehensive database of organizations and entities that serve persons suffering from homelessness in Georgia. -Operating the Homeless Resource Helpline to connect homeless clients to services in their area. -Advocating on behalf of the homeless population to the local, state, and federal government. -Raising awareness through social media, Homeless Awareness Week, and other community events about the impact of homelessness on the individual and the community. -Providing trainings and educational conferences throughout the state to professionals who serve homeless clients.
