ABCD is a not-for-profit volunteer organisation. Its main objective is to assist Brazilian-Australian families of Portuguese-speaking children to conquer the challenges of bilingual upbringing in Australia. It counts with an Advisory Board consisting of professionals from the areas of pedagogy, psychology and linguistics, as well as representatives of the Brazilian community in Australia.
