Dereli Holding A.Ş., whose incorporation dates back to 1967, laid the foundation of today's Federal Mogul Powertrain Otomotiv A.Ş (“Federal Mogul Turkey”) in 1995 by entering into a joint venture with the multinational company T&N Plc. under an equal shareholding structure. Having changed its tradenames various times after Federal Mogul Corporation's takeover of T&N Plc., the Company assumed its current tradename in 2014. Federal Mogul Turkey is a leading manufacturer in its products range is the controlling company of its public company subsidiary, Federal Mogul İzmit Piston ve Pim Üretim Tesisleri A.Ş. and Federal Mogul Dış Ticaret A.Ş. which has export company status. It has manufacturing facilities in Izmit, Sapanca and Arslanbey. The plants utilize high technology including Nüral technology in pistons and Goetze technology in piston rings and cylinder liners using state of the art machinery with utmost precision. Federal-Mogul Turkey has invested so far 278 million € in technology and capacity. These investments has upgraded the manufacturing facilities as per the state-of-the art benchmarks in the world. In 2018, with the acquisition of Federal Mogul LLC by another multinational conglomerate Tenneco Inc,; the company continues its activities as a joint-venture with 50% Dereli Group and 50% Tenneco Group shareholding. The Company currently has a consolidated turnover above 335 million Euros.
