HIP (Honouring Indigenous Peoples) envisions a Canada where every Indigenous person has the same educational opportunities as other Canadians, every Rotarian is involved in advancing the understanding of Indigenous knowledge systems and challenges, and every Canadian is engaged in building positive Indigenous relationships. HIP’s mission is to support Indigenous Peoples education vision and promote understanding and awareness of Indigenous knowledge systems and challenges amongst all Canadians. HIP is a partnership between Indigenous Peoples and Rotarians. HIP is aligned with the Truth and Reconciliation calls-to-action and our mission, goals and activities are initiated by the First Nation, Inuit and Métis people we serve.
