Schored Projects is an architecture and landscape architecture design practice with a social agenda. At its heart it is a team dedicated to designing and delivering built outcomes which are innovative and customised for individual clients. We create work that makes people feel comfortable, uplifted and connected to their surroundings. Schored Projects believe good design should be available to all: regardless of gender, ethnicity or socioeconomic background. We work with clients who share these values – of social justice, inclusivity, and fairness. Schored have collaborated with organisations including Women’s Property Initiatives, Aboriginal Housing Victoria, Launch Housing, Sacred Heart Mission and Kids Under Cover. Our work with these clients has been recognised in State awards and various publications. But for us the work is not about awards and professional recognition – it is about making a difference in people’s lives, and especially in the lives of those who are vulnerable, and might otherwise not have access to the benefits of good design.
